Understanding How Praise Facilitates Fulfillment of Prophecies (Part 3)

Prophetic scriptures are not ordinary words; they are the more sure word of prophecy as described in 2 Peter 1:19–21. They proceed directly from the mouth of God and represent His sworn verdicts, not mere predictions. Prophecies come through divine channels such as the voice of God, the written Word of God, and the ministry of God-sent prophets. God speaks according to His unlimited resources and not according to human insufficiency. This means that wherever God leads a man, He has already made provision and preserved an allocation for that destination, whether financial, material, marital, occupational, or otherwise.

However, the fulfilment of prophecy is often resisted by forces of darkness. Scripture makes it clear that there is a battle against the manifestation of God’s word, but this battle cannot be won by human strength or fleshly effort. Only the hand of God has the capacity to bring to pass what His mouth has spoken. Whatever proceeds from the mouth of God requires the hand of God for performance. Therefore, believers must rely on divine empowerment rather than natural ability.

Our responsibility is to war a good warfare in order to see prophecies fulfilled. This warfare is not fought with physical weapons but with spiritual tools, one of which is praise. Praise secures the hand of God upon our lives and affairs. We must also receive and believe every prophetic word, as belief engraces us for steadfastness in stewardship. Steadfastness means faithfulness—remaining committed to God regardless of circumstances. A faithful steward praises God not merely because of His provisions, but because He is the Provider. Even when provisions seem delayed, praise must continue. True steadfastness in stewardship is incomplete without praise.

Praise facilitates the fulfilment of prophecies by provoking fresh oil. Praise is a covenant platform for encountering the oil of joy, which empowers supernatural change. Joy is the fountain of praise, and while one may sing without joy, true praise cannot occur without it. The Holy Spirit is both the reservoir and the oil of joy, and when praise is offered in joy, fresh oil is released. This fresh oil produces power, and nothing forces the surrender of the enemy like power. When a believer is endowed with power, victory becomes inevitable. David’s praise drove away the evil spirit tormenting Saul, demonstrating that praise carries an anointing that repels darkness and secures divine protection.

Through praise, believers also subdue their enemies. God is enthroned in the praises of His people, and where God is enthroned, the enemy cannot dominate. Praise ushers in divine presence, and divine presence guarantees victory. Praise is the master key that opens closed doors and removes barriers. Every barrier has an access point, and praise activates that access. Biblical examples such as Moses at the Red Sea and Paul and Silas in prison show that praise opens supernatural doors and alters impossible situations.

Furthermore, praise positions believers to take possession of their inheritance. Throughout Scripture, praise preceded territorial conquest and divine settlement. When God’s people praised Him, He went ahead of them to secure their inheritance and establish them in their promised land.

In the anointing session, emphasis is placed on the oil of joy. The Holy Spirit, who is the oil of joy, releases supernatural gladness that strengthens the believer. This joy produces health, strength, access to revelation, and freedom from depression. It is the kind of joy seen on the day of Pentecost—intoxicating, overflowing, and full of glory. It is joy that remains active in trials and cheers others in the midst of storms.

In this anointing service, participants are expected to experience full restoration of strength and health, an end to every form of spiritual dryness and lack of revelation, and freedom from depression. As preparations continue toward the next Pre-Shiloh Encounter Service, all participants are encouraged to position themselves for a life-changing encounter that will usher them into the fulfilment of God’s prophetic agenda.

Jesus is Lord.
